FC Barcelona’s Rafinha, who is returning from the loan at Celta de Vigo, wants to wait until he receives offers from Premier League clubs, although he already has an offer on the table from the Chinese Super League.
The future of the Brazilian midfielder is outside of Barcelona and he already has an offer from a Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua which is willing to pay 16 million euros for the player. Convincing Rafinha will be difficult as it seems that he doesn’t want to continue his career in China.
Rafinha extended his contract with FC Barcelona before going to Celta de Vigo on a loan. Celta is willing to offer a contract to Rafinha but with significantly low wages, hence the player prefers to come back to his childhood club and look for better options.
Italian side Inter Milan, where he has already played on the loan is an option as well but the Brazilian is keen on joining the Premier League sides for the simple motive of playing in the same Championship as his brother Thiago, who won’t be continuing at Bayern Munich and has several offers from Premier League sides. There are no concrete offers from any clubs yet for Rafinha but Wolverhampton and Everton are monitoring the player’s progress for a long time and could make an offer.
The plan is to resolve Rafinha’s future in two weeks at most so that he doesn’t take part in the pre-season with FC Barcelona and could join his new club from start.
