Barcelona and Pedri look to solve injury concerns once and for all
Barcelona and Pedri are implementing additional measures to minimize the risk of muscle injuries, as reported by Sergi Solé of Mundo Deportivo. Pedri himself has disclosed adjustments to his diet, incorporating pilates for enhanced flexibility, and utilizing a hyperbaric chamber to optimize oxygenation in muscle tissues.
The club’s dieticians, in collaboration with medical services, have removed gluten-containing foods from his diet and modified the prescribed vitamin supplements. To further aid him, Barça has facilitated collaboration with esteemed physiotherapist Raúl Martinez, known for his work with Spanish internationals and iconic players like current manager Xavi Hernandez, Andreas Iniesta, Carlos Puyol, Sergio Busquets, and David Villa.
In essence, both Pedri and Barcelona are dedicated to addressing his injury concerns comprehensively, recognizing his pivotal role under Xavi.
