FC Barcelona’s 18-year-old teenage sensation will be out for 4 months to recover from an injury he suffered against Betis.
Since the start of the 2020-21 season, Ansu Fati has been a crucial asset for FC Barcelona. He has scored 5 goals in all competitions while playing 10 matches in total.
On Saturday, November 7th, he was injured in the match against Real Betis which Barcelona won 5-2 at home. After tests were carried out on Sunday, it was decided that the player will undergo surgery for the injury to the meniscus in his left knee. Today, after the surgery was performed by doctor Ramon Cugat, the club has announced that the player will spend 4 months on sideline.
It will be interesting to see who will Koeman use to replace Fati on the left side.
