On Saturday, November 7th, he was injured in the match against Real Betis which Barcelona won 5-2 at home. After tests were carried out on Sunday, it was decided that the player will undergo surgery for the injury to the meniscus in his left knee. Today, after the surgery was performed by doctor Ramon Cugat, the club has announced that the player will spend 4 months on sideline.
