After a lot of speculation, it is looking like FC Barcelona’s Argentine star will renew his contract with his childhood club.
According to Mundo Deportivo’s Miguel Rico, Messi has accepted FC Barcelona’s economic offer. Almost everything is finalised, and the Argentine will renew for 2 more years.
Later Sky Sports’ Matteo Moretto confirmed the news by Miguel Rico and said that everything indicates that Lionel Messi will continue in Barcelona.
Later in Eric García’s press conference, Laporta addressed a question about Messi where the club president stated that everything is under controlled and they are calm about the situation.
