Following a briliant performance, Marc Bernal came off injured against Rayo Vallecano in the ten minutes of injury time.

Dani Olmo’s dream debut was overshadowed by tragic news coming out of the Barcelona camp. Soto Grado and company added ten minutes of injury time to the Rayo Vallecano matchup at the Estadio de Vallecas, and in the final minutes, Marc Bernal tackled Isi Palazón but ended up getting injured in the aftermath.

Initial reports from Catalonia state that the dressing room believes it to be an ACL injury which sidelines players for the duration of a football season. The reports do come from the dressing room, and aside from the quick initial physical tests conducted on the sidelines, no further tests have been conducted. The medics’ assessment fails to be mentioned in any of the reports coming out of Catalonia.

Hansi Flick stated to DAZN post-match that the full tests would take place on Wednesday, where the player’s full outlook would be assessed.
