FC Barcelona has announced that they have reached an agreement with Graham Hansen for a new contract, keeping her at the club until 2023.
The Norwegian attacker (25) joined Barça’s women’s team from former side Wolfsburg in the 2019 summer transfer window. Since then, she has played 39 games in which she managed to find the back of the net 16 times, statistically making her a key player to the team.
Graham Hansen already won the league title, the Spanish Super Cup and the Catalan Cup, adding up to her impressive trophy list that also includes being chosen as the best footballer in Norway in 2020.
The contract renewal will see Graham Hansen stay at the club for two more years, until the end of the 2023 season. The club has said that the contract will officially be signed when there’s enough time for it in the team’s sporting calendar.
Barça Femení have gotten off to an amazing start, winning all of their first 11 games in the league and topping the table. Graham Hansen already contributed with four goals and nine assists, the most assists anyone in the league has provided.
After being eliminated on penalties by Atlético Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup, the team will look to get back to winning ways on Wednesday as they face Rayo Vallecano.
