Serie A side Inter Milan recently announced the signing of Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal from FC Barcelona. Several of his teammates from the Spanish side took to social media to convey a farewell message to the Chilean international.

Club captain Lionel Messi also shared a post bidding farewell to Vidal, to which the latter responded by saying, “Thank you Alien! It has been an honour to play with the greatest of all time, thanks a lot for your friendship. I already miss you all. See you soon.”
Finally, the midfielder conveyed a farewell message to the club saying, “Today I say goodbye to everyone in FC Barcelona, after two wonderful years at this great club. I leave very proud of having dressed this shirt and of having played together with great players and great people. I want to thank my family, my teammates, the coaches, the doctors, the staff and all the wonderful fans that always showed me much love.
Today I start a new stage in my life but you’ll always be in my heart.
