Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba gave an interview to TVE from the Spanish national team camp, where he made his intentions very clear about his future at FC Barcelona. He also spoke about Messi, Koeman, their continuity, among other things.
Here’s what the Spanish left-back had to say:
About his future at the club
“I have three years left on my contract and I feel qualified to fulfill them. The club’s decision is there, but my intention is to stay at Barcelona for life.”
About Messi and his continuity
“Let’s hope that Leo stays with us, I think there is no need to doubt him. We await his decision.”
On Koeman’s continuity
“ I hope his future is resolved as soon as possible. The coach has a contract with Barcelona, he has had a great season. It is going to be the president’s decision and we will accept it.”
On the Euros and Ramos’ absence
“Because of my age I always take it as the last (Euros). The coach makes the list, he is the one who thinks who would be better. It is true that Ramos has not had the best time this season due to injuries, but he is a very important player for all of us.”
