Following another successful year, Blaugranagram have won awards for the fourth year running. This press release serves as an open letter from CEO, Omar Hawwash, to the general public.
This year has been turbulent, as years often are.
And as years often go, we once again managed to get through it successfully, as we edge closer to January, with colder weather and clouds soaring above us. This has, however, not prevented our readers and followers from providing us with unconditional support over the course of the last year.
As a company, our headcount has grown to over 25, and we continue to embrace diversity in genders, sexual orientation, and backgrounds, with our staff members being from every continent barring Australia.
This year, we tried to do things differently, and it worked wonders.
On Twitter/X, we redefined our voice slightly, continuing the style we’re known for: relatable, bold, factual. This gained us over 23 million impressions over the last year, with over a million engagements. Our exclusive content both from the press room, the training pitch, and the news room, have seen a significant increase across all platforms. We have continued to build our solid reputation as a news outlet and company around the world through our daily hard work and intricate research and communication.
On our website, we continued our coverage of both exclusive content and matchday content, and saw an increase compared to last year, with over 260,000 impressions at the time of writing, with a hit rate of over 50 percent. This is just on Google, and does not take into account our impressions gained through Blaugranagram’s hand-picked partners, such as FotMob, who host our news, amongst others, on their app, in the ‘News’ section for fans following FC Barcelona.
And so, it continues. We humbly accepted three awards this year. This is a huge milestone for many reasons, seeing as we did not nominate ourselves for any of these, never have, and never will. It is, thus, with great pride that we announce having won the following three awards for 2024, taking our total tally up to 6.
