Barcelona considering a permanent move for Pau Victor.
Pau Víctor reached a tally of 14 goals for Barça Atlètic after scoring twice against Cultural Leonesa in the latest round of the Primera Federación. The center forward has accounted for 36% of the team’s total of 38 goals, despite missing three matches—one due to suspension and the other two because of his call-up to the first team.
The versatile winger also has a contract with Girona until 2025 and is on loan until the end of the season. He chose to join the Blaugrana reserve team because he believed it would benefit his career more than waiting for his chance on the bench at Míchel’s team and he wasn’t wrong. According to Gabriel Sans of Mundo Deportivo, Barça is considering exercising the option to pay his release clause of €3 million.
At the Catalan club, they are clear about it. His performance has exceeded expectations, and the investment will pay off in the long run. He has been called up by Xavi to the first team five times, although he has not yet made his debut. The player is focused on his current role at Barça Atlètic and on playing in the promotion playoffs.
