After a very hectic 2020/21 year, the new season begins to take shape for the Blaugranas. Ronald Koeman and company are expected back by the beginning of July.
Today, June 9th, FC Barcelona officially announced the dates in which the first team is due back. The first two days, June 9th and 10th, will consist of routine medical checks and on July 12th the first training session is expected to take place. The dates of arrival may vary for players competing in the Euro and Copa America.
Additionally, multiple Barça B players are also contemplated to be part of the preseason. The four names that have been reported by SER Catalunya are: Àlex Collado, Nico González, Iñaki Peña and Arnau Tenas. More youngster could also be added, depending on transfers and dates of return of other players.
Finally, another player is also expected back for the preseason, Ansu Fati. The young star is aiming to be back in training on the third week of July. Currently he is still in recovery from his last surgery and with high hopes of making a comeback.
