After a very good second part of the season, Jean-Clair Todibo will make his stay at Nice a permanent one. The French club has let Barça know their intention of buying the center back for 8.5 million euros.
At the beginning of the season, it seemed as if Jean-Clair Todibo would not have a great year. After being just a few months at Benfica before leaving and having to look for other options. However, his loan at Nice has proven to be a great move and decision for the young defender.
Under the management of head coach Adrián Ursea, he has been able to secure a spot in the starting eleven. Todibo has played 14 matches as a starter in the French club and performed extremely well alongside William Saliba.
Now as the season looms near to an end, Nice has expressed their desire to purchase the Barça player. According to Marca and later confirmed by FC Barcelona, this transaction would cost the Aiglons 8.5 million euros plus an extra seven in variables. The Catalan club will certainly look positively at this sell as they are in need of economical resources.
